They offer advocacy and support for people with dementia, their caregivers, and promote the research to find a cure for the disease. The Alzheimer’s Association offers peer or professionally led groups for caregivers, individuals living with Alzheimer's and others dealing with the disease. There are specialized support groups for the variety of needs specific to particular types of dementia and/or caregiving issues. This is Part 6 of the Alzheimer's Association series.
